Paddle Features and Technologies
  • 4th Generation technology featuring mortise-and-tenon EPP/EVA joint foam core
    • While the unique interlocking structure provides exceptional strength and durability at the paddle's core, an elastic layer surrounding mortise-and-tenon joint bonded with high strength carbon fiber frame introduces targeted flexibility to perfectly balance power with control
  • NanoBondTM surface technology
    • NanoBondTM is synthesized via an advanced cross-linking process that engineers a highly wear-resistant, nano-scale bonding network within the carbon-fibril polymer matrix, which enables persistent spin
  • No more honeycomb, no more plastic, and no more core crush to worry about
  • USAP PBCoR.43 Approved for sanctioned tournament play

Outstandingly predictable paddle. You need at least 5 hrs of break in on this paddle before you decide it's too stiff or doesn't have enough power. My setup is 3g of tungsten tape on each corner. Less power than a Quanta, but still has significant power. Enough power for the 5.0+ level of play. Shines on drops, and especially resets. Pop is low, but most players don't need crazy pop. Tenon pop keeps the ball controllably in play with expected result. In other words, the ball won't go flying off unpredictably. The NanoBond technology is real. You can feel the ball on the paddle. It doesn't have a deep plush feel, but it leans that way, while still coming off the paddle face a bit faster than the Quanta. Highly recommend this paddle, and the Tenon line to players who want ground stroke power and mid-court to kitchen control. WT: 8.4oz, SW: 126, TW: 6.77

My drops and drives are better now.

I like the paddle very much. It is nice and powerful but is very comfortable and feels quick at the NVZ. I find it easy to see play with vs the boomstick or Joola Agassi paddles I was playing with previously.

Great paddle! Definitely has pop compared to my Quanta, and the spin is good, too. It's so good I bought a 2nd one after just two days of playing!

The Tenon R3.16 is my latest paddle from Ronbus. My first couple games were different than with my Quanta R3.16 but after a few games outside, it felt very comfortable. It has power when I need it and allows for quick hands at the NVZ.

I would recommend Tenon paddle for players that want more control to their shots. The ball stays on Tenon longer so I can direct the ball more accurately. Drop shots are more consistent. Tenon has power at baseline when needed. I owned a OG Quanta R3 also. Tennon R3 is a better fit for my playing style. The grit seems to hold up well. Will see after 3 months of playing. OG Quanta loss grit after 3 months for me. Highly recommend Tenon to players that want more feel and control.

Dream paddle if it was just a hair lighter! The fact that it doesn’t need weight speaks volumes to the construction though.

Plenty of pop with control.

This paddle is great! Awesome spin, powerful shots from baseline, and plays the soft game very well.

I absolutely love the r3 tenon! It’s my new main having recently used the spartus p1 widebody and the 11six24 power 2 Ultre.

Loving the Tenon R3. Seems to play much like the Quanta in so many ways but there's a hint more plushness, which is what I was looking for! Zero loss of power too. I use both paddles at times, rotating if the grips get too sweaty. Great job Ronbus!!

The paddle is better build in my opinion than quanta r3 that i have. It is 7.9 oz stock, where quanta is 7.6 oz.

After adding overgrip, added weight to decrease twisting and open up power for me the padde is 8.5oz plus.

It now hits hard, a bit too poppy. Soft but not as plush for elongated shape. Overall, compared to quanta r3 its better on spin and slightly better on sweet spot. It is very soft without any weight.

So far I am enjoying playing with the Tenon. It has a lot of power when you want it and the control when needed. I can also feel a little more grip when I want to add some spin to my shots. It’s a wait and see how long the new surface holds up. I am very happy with this paddle!
