I love the paddle!
I loved this paddle when it first came out. As a rec player I am not worried about he certification, I just want that sweet dwell time.
Best paddle ever made, I wish they would try to seek approval now with hotter paddles being approved as of late.
Awesome paddle. Light weight is perfect for hand battles and awesome power. Added weights and made a perfect paddle.
I already had the Beta Ripple elongated (or is it hybrid?). Anyway, I love these paddles, and since I don't play tournaments, I couldn't care less about the approval! Fantastic price on this, too!!!
Love it!! Best paddle ever!!
It does everything that I want it to do. All my peers want to take it off my hands and buy it every time I play.
Awesome paddle!
The Beta Ripple R2.14 is a solid paddle once about 1/2 ounce of total weight is added to the 9 and 3 clock positions of the paddle.
Found that is similar to the Ronbus Quanta but a bit more powerful after I played with it several times.
Compared it to Joola Gen 5 Scorpeus and found that that paddle offers more power and easier to control dinks since it has a better feel. But it is also too expensive!
It offers good value and well worth it for recreational play at the 3.5-4.0 level.
I have to say, I had a little paddle company for a few years, mostly Chinese knock offs of current popular paddle like truefoam, boomstickand a few others. I tried the Rombus, and it felt so good its the only paddle I play now.it had the power, the pop, the dwell time amd hits where I aim.
Thanks Scott from the padl company
really like this paddle! It plays much like my last main, the Gearbox GX2, but with a bit more control. great price as well
I'm not the best pickleball player so take this with a grain of salt. I love this paddle, everything you may have read about power or spin, is true, it's phenomenal, we have many many paddles this one truly is different, one thing you will notice is blocks with this paddle are very unforgiving, if it hits the sweet spot the ball soars, if it doesn't you'll think your paddle has a dead spot, it's a amazing paddle managed to get it when they had it up for 50$ but for 70 this thing competes with budget power paddles like no other, for 70$ it's worth a shot it competes with/outcompetes most other 100-200$ paddles I've played with
Paddles we have to compare: Luzz Pro Cannon, Ronbus Quanta (R4.16, R5.16) Pakle Fuse (Duragrit) VaticPro, Vatic Power, Vatic Pro Flash, XSpak, Wilson Tour, Selkirk Boomstik, and some other random budget ones
I like the feel of the paddle and the pop when you hit a good shot.
Love it, bought another one and have sold 2 more on recommendation
I have the R1 and R2 and the paddles did not disappoint. Power is just right to my needs especially now that I'm working on my dinking and soft games. The paddles deliver on those activities and its power is always ready when I need to bang it. For me, its the right paddle and retired the rest of my paddles in the rack.
In short, these paddles were ahead of their time. Extreme firepower and spin, incredible pocketing with a springy feel, super light, massive sweet spot, and overall just unbelievably satisfying to play with.
It's a shame that they're no longer USAP-approved but this will surely lay the foundation for Ronbus's future designs and inspirations.
I like it so much. The game is different in a better way now.
The equipment is great.
Great all around paddle with big pop
Shipping was frustratingly slow, but the paddle itself is excellent — does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Yes paddle is not approved but would be nice if you guys did not sharpie the X on it.
I love this paddle! still bummed it has been delisted. Also, this paddle was heavier than previous Beta Ripple.R2.14 I have ordered, weighed 8.2, compared to 7.7 for others. I know there is a variance, but I didn't expect it to be over 8oz.
lots of pop - good control
So i have the V2R2.14 new version. But just tried these Beta’s, they are so much better more power and pop. The V2 feels so dead and flat. Liked them so much Im ordering 2 of the R1 elongated! I’m a converted tennis player. Thanks Ronbus
Great paddle with lots of power and spin, plus big sweet spot. Although it is 14mm, but with ease of control. Overall it's an awesome paddle, value for money.
Love this paddle - very versatile
I have played approximately 25 games with the Beta 2.14. I am pleased with all aspects. Right away I was pleased with my resets. My dinking became easier and the spin is impressive. Thanks, Ronbus!
Great power. The swing weight is still manageable.
This paddle has great pop and heat on the ball when driving. The bigger sweet spot makes it even better. I added the slyce slider weights of 5g each side and this is a monster. Going to add it to the v2 R2 ripple and see how it does
Hands down the ultimate paddle, especially for doubles. Lightning fast hands with punishing counters. Drops and resets are automatic...just stick the paddle out. Purchase while it is still available!! Beta Ripples are the best paddle ever made!!
control with power. I'm 4.5ish. my drops have improved. power is there, hand speed is great. very special paddle. I liked grip. It's the best paddle I have played with and I have tried a lot of paddles. it's not so hot that I feel bad playing rec play with it exp in widebody. there are hotter paddles that are approved( and I got this one for control not to bangsharpie x is there . yes spin n shaping ball is best I have ever played with. just an incredible paddle at great price. no question 5 star.
This is, hands down, the greatest pickleball paddle ever created. It is unfortunate that it is not legal. If you don't care about using an illegal paddle, and you struggle to generate your own power, this is the best option out there. It takes a little while to calibrate the speed of the paddle, but once you do, all aspects of the game are on point.
This is a great paddle that has the best feedback when the ball strikes the surface, It makes a unique thunk when it hits the ball. The sound reminds me of the Mod TA-15. It has top tier power and hand speed. Works great for hand battles. All you need to do is block and the paddle rockets the ball back.
