I like this paddle

Very versatile paddle for control and stability. Works best with added weight and overgrip.

With weight (I’m using 8gm at roughly 3 and 9 o’clock) this paddle is a monster. It doesn’t have quite as much power as the most powerful paddles like the Boomstik; but that’s just fine for me because I can generate my own power. Control is great. Touch is great. I can’t imagine why anyone is spending close to $400 for a paddle when you can get this for $99.

Great control and power to shape the shots

I love it! Just got gold in mixed doubles at the Katie Davis tournament in Grants Pass Oregon with that paddle. Lots of control and great dinks!

I’ve owned the blue r1 and r4 as well as the black r3 and r4 and the black r4 is my favorite! Weight from corner to corner on the two sides made my black r4 super fun to play with. Amazing touch and control for a power paddle

I love this Quanta R4.16 pickleball paddle. I love the weight of the paddle, grip of the handle, and the way the ball hits and bounces off the sweet spot on paddle.

I don't like it. I am not sure if it is me or the paddle. My most recent paddle was a CRBN (2). I have also tried a Vatic Pro which I like.

This a paddle is great overall. Great feel for resets and hands battles. 5 Stars!!! and I highly recommend this paddle.

This is an amazing paddle. I've played pb for 16 years having some other good paddles plus some so so ones. I am 81 and this paddle has real pop but still allows nice touch. I feel like I've come across a paddle that is somewhat of an equalizer with more athletic players. Nice price too.

This paddle is so good. Has great power, consistent touch and really good at generating spin. It has less pop than other power paddles which I think really helps in controlling opponents drives. I would give it 9/5 stars if possible. It’s such a great paddle at an incredible price point.

Improved my game

Enjoy all aspects of the paddle. The wrap on the grip does not feel like leather, but has a rather waxy feeling. I know I can add a wrap, but always prefer the original. My R3.16 felt great.

The light blue grip tape is non-adhesive and easily shows dirt, etc.
Will add some weighted tape for extra stability.

I am new to pickleball but it seems like a good paddle.

I just bought my 2nd one because it is by far my favorite paddle that I have owned or tried…and I’ve tried many of the big names. I like it with some weight on the lower half of the paddle.

Love it so far. Have an R1.2 that I really like, but it’s a bit heavier than I like. So I bought this R4.16 and love the light weight with same great Toray face.

comtrol is not easy. the padddle is light with reasonable power.
with this low price it is is a steal

Since I started playing pickleball about 8 years ago, I have sheets played with Selkirk paddles. The last one I’ve been using is a polymer honeycomb core and I was always popping the ball up for my opponents to have an easy put away. Some of my pickleball buddies were introduced to Ronbus and they seem to really like it. I purchased the Quantum 4.16 all foam core and have played with it for two days. I love the greater sweet spot with this paddle. I seem to have a lot more control. It didn’t take long at all to get used to this paddle.

I really love this paddle. I wish there was a version of the ronbus quanta, but with longer lasting grit. That would be a perfect paddle. I want the paddle of the ronbus, with the grit of the tenon. Please consider making this.

Solid gen 4 paddle! Very good all around. Especially in hand battles. Resets and dinks have great control!

As a novice pickleball player, I've found this paddle to be a great addition to my game. It has improved my control and confidence on the court, and I've noticed a positive difference in my overall performance.
