Excellent paddle. Love the power and spin. Only thing I need to dial in is returning powerful serves. Otherwise pretty easy to control.

Mine was 7.8oz so I added 3g at 3 and 9 o'clock. Did not try without the weights.

I use a ping pong grip, so this power paddle gives me the missing power to compensate.

Probably one of the best paddles you can buy for the price in Canada, at PB Sport.

I have had 5 different players of various levels try my QP R2.16. Nothing but rave reviews! This is a winning paddle for anyone from DUPR 2.5 up. Great spin, balance is perfect, lots of power. There are few paddles that can match what this one can do. . . and they are all 2x to 3x more expensive.

This is my third Ronbus paddle. Great paddle great price. Power when needed. It is the control that I like. This paddle fits my style of play.

This elongated paddle has great feel and good power without adding any weight. Highly recommend it, plays amazing on third-shot drops and kitchen battles!

I used the Ronbus Quanta and really liked its hollow sound, control, and power. I decided to try the Tenon, which is a very different paddle--dense with much less power--at least for me there was no "sneaky power." So, I returned the Tenon and got the Quanta Pro, which is a grittier Quanta--similar feel. I used 3 g wts at approximately 10 and 2 o'clock. Really enjoying it! If you like the Quanta and need to upgrade, go to the Pro, not the Tenon. Hope that helps!

So far so good! Like the balance and the grit of the surface. I’ve been switching back-and-forth between my regular Quantas and the pro for a few days. Definitely feels like it has a little bit more pop and spin. Still trying to break it in a little. One of the three Quantas that I keep in my bag hadn’t been used yet so it’s a fair comparison between the two both being new.

Absolutely amazing paddle!

I have used the Quanta for a while. The Quanta pro feels even better. The new surface has improved control for me. I still had to add a little bit of weight for the paddle to dial in for me.

I've had a week with the new QP.R2 and it is a winner. It feels a little stiff and a little hallow, but in a good way. I added 3gr at 4 and 8 for a total static weight with over grip of 8.2oz. It is a lively, fun new paddle. Every bit as good as the original Quanta, maybe better.

Fixed and improved what the original Quanta R2.16 did not have: weight balance (fixed) and enhanced with NanoGrit.

Love this paddle! An amazing deal for the price but also just a great paddle overall. I feel like this version plays well out of the box and offers great firepower with control too!

Today I played with the R2 Quanta Pro for the first time. I previously played with an R2 Quanta with 6 grams of weight on each side. The Quanta Pro has a different feel, it feels softer while maintaining the great pop that the original Quanta has. It feels like a black version of the Quanta, but hits harder like the original blue Quanta with weight added. Resets and dinks can be a little more difficult with this paddle, but not unmanageable. The texture of the Pro's paddle face is noticeably rougher than the original Quanta. The sweet spot is great, I played 9 games today and didn't notice any miss hits or inconsistencies in the sweet spot. The original Quanta has a very direct, stiff feel and it vibrates quite a bit when you hit the ball. The Quanta Pro doesn't transmit any of these vibrations to your hand. I love the original Quanta and I've played with pretty much every popular power paddle out there, I even own some of them, but kept coming back to the Quanta mainly because of the consistency and the pop/power. The Quanta Pro is a noticeable improvement over the original. It is significantly faster in the hand for me, since I didn't have to add weight to the Pro. The spin should also be better and longer lasting. I typically buy 6-8 paddles a year, but I like this one enough that I don't think I'll be buying any other paddles for the next 6 months.
